This weekend, the 18th and 19th of October, sees a great celebration of art and music all around Allendale, centring around Pebbles Art Gallery and Café.

Additionally, or simultaneously even, Allendale hosts Whapweasel, the country’s best ceilidh dance band, in one of the most exciting components of the Big National Ceilidh, Saturday evening from 7:30pm.  At 10:00pm precisely, everyone in the country (including some 73 different venues) will be dancing the Circassian Circle simultaneously!  So that will be a lot of dancing!
